The content creator 'Fofo' Márquez, accused of attempted feminicide, appeared at a hearing that lasted more than four hours. During it, he offered apologies and requested to be judged like any other person in a legal process. The trial was rescheduled for January 22 at 4:00 PM.

On this third occasion, Melanie Lattanzi, 'Fofo' Márquez's girlfriend, did not appear to testify in defense of her partner. The victim, Edith 'N', who was assaulted by the accused in April 2024, rejected 'Fofo's' apologies and claimed he showed no true remorse. She believed the expert reports presented by Márquez's defense were manipulated to favor him.

During the hearing, four experts presented by the defense argued that the injuries inflicted on the victim did not endanger her life, and that there was no evidence that Márquez was a feminicide. In the midst of the presentation of evidence, 'Fofo' Márquez appeared smiling and made gestures of complicity to his family and friends present in the room.

Upon leaving the venue, Márquez's younger brother stated that the content creator's apologies were sincere and he trusted the expert evidence would favor him. Previously, family members and supporters of 'Fofo' blocked Periférico Norte to demand his release; however, this generated criticism on social media where the majority of internet users believed Márquez should be condemned for violence against women.
